1G SFP
1G SFP Optical Transceiver Modules
Our 1G SFP transceiver device is produced as a lightweight, hot-pluggable optical module commonly used in an array of telecommunication and data transmission settings. A multi-source arrangement (MSA) under the Small Form Factor Committee specifies the end form factor and electrical interface of the product. It is a commonly recognized business format produced with the aid of a significant number of network component manufacturers in the industry.
On networking hardware, the transceiver interface is typically a modular (plug-and-play) slot for a variable, media-specific transceiver to connect a fiber optic cable or, in some cases, a copper cable. Some SFP modules support SONET, Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and other networking requirements. The transceiver has essentially replaced the gigabit interface converter (GBIC) in most applications due to its much smaller scale. Despite not being formally referred to as such, some industry vendors elect to refer to the substance as a "Mini-GBIC."
SFPs are small, hot-pluggable transceiver modules connected to the SFP port on most switches and fiber media converters. Note that SFPs do come in a variety of speeds (Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, and 10GbE), formats (SFP, SFP+, XFP, GBIC, XENPACK, DAC), fiber modes (Multimode, Single-mode), and manufacturers (Huawei, Hewlett Packard, Juniper Networks, Cisco, DELL, Brocade, Finisar).
As a company, Onis Networks has over five years of experience in supplying 1G SFP modules at very competitive prices. We have amassed a large customer base from around the world, and if customers have any questions about any of our products, please do not hesitate to contact our team right away.
1G SFP LX Transceiver
The 1G SFP LX transceiver is built as a high-performance, low-cost small form-factor pluggable (SFP) single-mode module for 1000BASE-LX Gigabit Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel applications according to IEEE802.3z. With 9/125um single-mode fiber, the product supports dual data rates of 1.25Gbps/1.06Gbps and a propagation radius of up to 20 kilometers.
This 1G SFP LX transceiver module complies with the SFP Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) and can be used on optical networking equipment with MSA compatible SFP ports. A 1310nm FP laser is used in the transmitter portion, a class 1 laser device that complies with International Safety Standard IEC 60825. A high-speed PIN photodiode is coupled with a trans-impedance preamplifier in the receiver portion (TIA).
What’s more, per SFF-8472, the OSP1250-3120DCR family SFP module includes an optional digital diagnostic interface that provides a handy real-time monitoring feature for the transceiver temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, laser average output power, and obtained optical power. By design, these dimensions are calibrated by our manufacturing team internally.
